The Beautiful Cell - Storyboard Work

These are the storyboards which I've produced for the production of "The Beautiful Cell". I did find working on these boards to be quite enjoyable, as in some panels, I found myself experimenting with shading. I believe that it was a good idea to bring in some tone as I wanted to have the interior prison (which included the shaded panels) to represent a dark and gloomy place. Whereas, on the outside (no shading), it would be a lot brighter.

Precious Pet - Hamster Pounce

This animation is a sequence from a film, which I worked on with my colleague, in our second year at university. Our film was entitled "Precious Pet", and we worked together to produce an animated film about a pet hamster, who gets hypnotised by a television show, which causes him to cause mayhem in his owners home. This clip is one I've worked on, and features the hamster reacting after the hypnotism. In this scene, he attempts to break free from his cage.

Old Character Designs for "The Beautiful Cell"

Hyena Break-Down: Joey *Note: The character designs of the hyena's were part of my original concept art for "The Beautiful Cell" production. This was before I began work on the bush baby, rooster, and the squid. The reason why the hyena designs haven't been included in the production is due to them sharing a similar facial/body appearance. We therefore decided to use different species of animals for the film.
